  • Overview of the Lean-Agile Mindset and the SAFe® core competencies, values and principles
  • Overview of Scrum, Kanban and quality practices in product development
    Establishing agility in the team by building cross-functional teams
  • Characterization of the role of the Scrum Master and Product Owner with their responsibilities in a scaled company
  • How to plan an iteration including prioritizing the team backlog, writing, splitting and estimating user stories and formulating iteration goals
  • How to execute an iteration with visualization of work in Kanban boards, participation in team events, application of quality practices and continuous delivery with DevOps
  • Simulation of a Program Increment (PI) and overview of the Innovation & Planning Iteration​

Requirements

  • A general understanding of agile working methods or agile project management (e.g. Scrum) is beneficial
  • A good understanding of written English (workbook and SAFe website available in English only)​​

Certification criteria

  • Participating in all days of the course to qualify for the exam
  • Passing the exam at Scaled Agile Inc. (Community Platform) by
    30 days after the training
  • Certifications expire one year after the date on which the certification was obtained, renewal fee: $295 per year
