Preparation

No, our training courses do not qualify for educational leave.

That depends on the training program you choose. Please check the respective product details for more information. A Green Belt certification is required for the Green Belt to Black Belt advanced training. Participation in the Master Black Belt training requires a Black Belt certification.

No, our training programs are not eligible for funding.

Certification

Depending on the training program, passing the final exam and, if applicable, submitting projects are prerequisites for certification. Please check the specific details for the product you are interested in.

Yes, that is generally possible. To participate in a Green Belt to Black Belt advanced training course, you should have already completed a Green Belt training course. To participate in a Master Black Belt training course, you should have already completed a Black Belt training course.

That depends on the training program you choose.
For Green Belt certification, you must submit one project; for Black Belt certification, you must submit two projects. If you’re participating in a Green Belt to Black Belt training program and are already a certified Green Belt, you can submit your Green Belt project, and one project will then be sufficient for Black Belt certification.

That depends on the training program you choose.
For the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, you have one year after passing the exam; for the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, you have two years after passing the exam. If you’re participating in a Green Belt to Black Belt training program and are already a certified Green Belt, you may be able to have your Green Belt project credited, in which case you’ll have one year to submit your Black Belt project after passing the exam.

Submit your projects at projektbewertung@ums-gmbh.com.

Ideally, you should already have a project—or at least a rough idea for one—before the first module begins, so that you can apply the theoretical concepts directly to it.
